The questions brides and families ask us most. Can't find what you need? Visit one of our stores in London, Leicester or Birmingham, or book a consultation.
Visiting our stores
Where are your stores?
VAMA Collections has three Indian bridal jewellery boutiques in the UK:
- London: 352 Pinner Road, North Harrow, HA2 6DZ
- Leicester: 106 Belgrave Road, Leicester, LE4 5AT
- Birmingham: Soho Central Plaza (first floor), 196 Soho Road, Birmingham, B21 9LR
Do I need an appointment?
Our Leicester and Birmingham stores are open for walk-ins every day except Monday, when they are closed. Our London store is open for walk-ins Tuesday to Saturday, and Sunday and Monday are by appointment only. For bridal shopping at any store, we recommend booking a bridal appointment or private consultation so you have our team's full attention.
Is there parking near your stores?
Yes, at all three. In London, Cambridge Road car park is directly across the road and the first hour is free. In Birmingham, there is a dedicated car park right behind the store. In Leicester, there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets.
Can I bring my outfit to match my jewellery?
Yes, and we recommend it. Our stores have changing rooms so you can try on your outfit and match jewellery to it in person with help from our team.
Do you offer video call consultations?
Yes. If you cannot visit a store, book a video call consultation and we will show you pieces live and help you choose.
Our jewellery
How much does a bridal jewellery set cost?
Full bridal sets range from £350 to £1,200, and most brides choose sets between £400 and £750. Non-bridal pieces for other functions and guests are priced lower.
Is your jewellery real gold?
No. All VAMA Collections pieces are high-end gold plated imitation and costume jewellery. They give the look of traditional gold and stone jewellery at a fraction of the price, so you can wear a different look for every function.
What styles of jewellery do you sell?
We stock kundan, polki, CZ and American diamond, temple, antique and semi precious stone jewellery, along with bangles, rings and head accessories such as maang tikkas and matha pattis.
Do you sell jewellery for bridesmaids, mums and wedding guests?
Yes. We have a large non-bridal range for the mother of the bride, sisters, bridesmaids and guests, including sets, earrings, bangles and rings at lower price points.
How do I look after imitation jewellery?
Put jewellery on after perfume and makeup, keep it away from water, wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store each piece separately in a pouch or box.
Planning and ordering
When should I come in to choose my bridal jewellery?
Ideally once your outfit is back and fitted, so you can try everything on together in store. If your outfit is arriving later, is unfitted, or you only have a fabric swatch, visit us no later than two months before the wedding. That gives us time to order anything additional or customise pieces for you.
Can you customise bridal jewellery?
Yes. Speak to our team about customisation options so your jewellery suits your outfit perfectly. Please allow at least two months before the wedding.
Can I buy online?
Yes. You can shop at vamacollections.co.uk with free UK delivery on orders over £50 and 14 day returns (see our refund policy for details). Our full collection is available in store.
